Sustainability & Conservation
At The Cliffs Kangaroo Island, sustainability is woven into the golf and guest experience. Eco-friendly maintenance practices, the integration of native vegetation, indigenous kitchen gardens and water conservation initiatives have been established to minimise our ecological footprint.
Our Commitment to Native Reforestation
and Sustainability
Significant environmental restoration has already taken place with over 1,000 noxious box-thorn plants removed and the establishment of an on-site native plant nursery. To date, more than 2,500 native trees and plants have been introduced, enhancing the natural ecosystem, with a commitment to long-term sustainability.
The Cliffs remains on track to plant an additional 10,000 native species over the next five years, further enriching the landscape and supporting local biodiversity.

What is <Place>?
For many, place can be a favourite holiday destination, a retreat that offers solitude, challenges, and rewards, or simply the comfort of home.
It may stir childhood memories or ignite dreams of future adventures.
At The Cliffs Kangaroo Island, we cherish this bond by caring for the diverse native wildlife, from birds to the tiniest plants, and ancient cliffs, and we do this with gratitude and we respect all who share a connection to this land.
